The journey of Sustainable Property Strategies’ Founder and CEO, Eric Laporte is deeply rooted in the values of hard work, service, and dedication passed down through generations.

Growing up in an entrepreneurial family, Eric was immersed in the world of horticulture and customer service from an early age. Working alongside his father at the local garden center in Blossom Park, Ottawa South, Eric learned the importance of great service and creating strong relationships with customers.

Eric's grandfather, Roger Laporte, played a key role in shaping the family’s legacy in horticulture. A third-generation horticultural farmer, Roger's work on his farm in Cumberland Ont. was integral to the Byward Market, a historic landmark in downtown Ottawa. It was there in the 1800s that the Laporte family established their reputation for providing high-quality fruits, vegetables, flowers, and shrubs, combined with friendly, knowledgeable service that earned the loyalty of customers for generations.
